Going down a road

I made my mind up to roads. I think it is impressing that when you step on a road somewhere in China it is very likely that this road is directely connected to a peace of asphalt somewhere in Spain, in Iraq or in Norway. Where you will get to just depends on which direction you choose at the crossroads you are facing on the way.

And in some way it is similar with life in general. You have to decide all the time if you turn left or right. If you keep on going or turn back again. Or if you just make a break and enjoy a place. When your are leaving a highway, it sometimes feels like your standing, while actually you are going pretty fast. Anyway...

This picture shows the main entrance and exit road of Reykjavík. So whenever we decide to leave this town, or return to it we have to pass it. By now I have been going down this road quite often. And whenever I came back I returned with a full package of impressions of this beautiful country. Made experiences with people I maybe will never see again, but still I will never forget.

Sometimes you will face things on the road you might not really plan with...

Sometimes you just have to stop for some minutes because it would just be wrong to let the moment pass so quickly...

Sometimes it is just not possible to take a road, and you better accept it...

and sometimes it´s fun to give a crap about cars, roads and all this stuff...
